And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.
My daily commute to work affords me a sunrise view as I drive eastward. On the day that I took this photo I was in awe of the beautiful sky and was hopeful to get a picture. I was pleasantly surprised when a stoplight forced me to pause and provided the perfect window view to get this image. This little rest stop enlightened and encouraged the beginning of my day and allowed me to share it with others.
How many times are we hurrying through our day and don’t take time to appreciate the little things around us? On this day I was grateful for that red light that gave me a chance to see and capture a glimpse of God’s glory.
